Yes they had registered for new logo in Jan 2019.
TLC HD World will be also rebranded as TLC HD soon.

Foreign versions of the Discovery channels have shortened versions of the logo, which looks pleasant to the eyes.

TLC, Animal Planet and other channels should follow the suit.
