Sad News DISHTV started counting FTA channels for NCF calculation

Before march 2020, DISHTV used to provide all FTA channels without counting them for NCF calculation. But in NTO 2.0 regime, they have started counting all FTA channels for purpose of NCF calculation.
But dishtv is not allowing alacarte subscription of FTA channels which is violation of trai rules. Subscriber is forced to chose one of the bst pack. This was case earlier too, but earlier bst addon fta was not counted for NCF. But it is not case anymore. So 200 channels limit is overshot and customer is charged 160 +taxes NCF.
I hope dishtv immediately allow alacarte subscription of all fta channels. Currently only around 15 Fta channels are available for alacarte subscription.

It is illegal to force bouquets and bst pack without offering alacarte of channels in bouquets. It was not illegal earlier when THEY were not charging NCF. Now since they calculate NCF on BST pack, they must provide alacarte too..

If they will calculate ncf over FTA channel than they need to give freedom to choose channels as per subscribers choice. They can not forced bst FTA pack. Their management is weak in term of services

You are not able to add FTA channel by using this missed call method of calling on 1800-568-XXXX (Replace XXXX with channel number. For 3 digit channels, prefix “0” before channel number)??

Forcing any channel even on complimentary basis is illegally. If anyone really want to punish dish tv for the violating TRAI's NTO. Buy any package. See if they force the channels. Request them to remove and compensate. If they don't. Contact one of your lawyer friends and sue them for lakhs. It's an open and shut case. Most people avoid courts. Hence, companies takes advantage of it.
