TOP UP DURATION(ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION)

in tata sky u can take atop up and cannot discontinue it for 30 days. 30 days r counted from day u activated that top up irrespective of ur account being active or suspended in the time period. also if u have second ,third or fourth connection on same id, u will get all the top up channels activated on primary box on all second,third and fourth connection. charges of top up r deducted on daily basis. like if suppose a toip up costs rs 30, rs 1 will b deducted on daily basis
AIRTEL DIGITAL TV
in airtel there is no specific time limit for taking a top up, u can activate a top up anytime and deactivate it anytime. however top up chgarges r deducted upfront for first month, i.e. if rs 30 is price of top up, that money ill b deducted as soon as u take the top up. now if u weant to deactivate top up bfore 30 days, u will get the money back for days u have noit used the top up like if activated a top up on 11th and deactivated it on 15th, excluding 5 days for which u have used the top up, for rest days money will b refunded. like tata sky here too , 30 days r calculated from date u activated the top up irrespective of account being active or suspended. if u have second ,third or fourth box on same cust id then still for each box top up needs to b raken seperately
DISH TV
In dish tv top up money is deducted on daily basis and 30 days min time is compulsory for a top up(there r some top ups for which 90 days subscription is compulsory). 30 days is calculated on basis of active days u use the top up, that is if u activate a top up on 5th of july and ur account goes suspoended on 13th and u activate ur account again oin 21st, then ur top up duration has been for 9 days, u need to keep the top up for more 21 days in active state. for second, third and fourth connection u will get the top up channels activated on primary box
SECONDARY/THIRD/FOURTH BOX ACTIVATION OR DEACTIVATION

in tata sky u can actiavet or deactivate ur second, third or fourth box as many times as u want. no terms or conditions
AIRTEL DIGITAL TV
in airtel second ,third or fourth box can only b deactivated once iun 6 months
BOX LOCK FACILITY

in tata sky u can avail once a year subscription holiday if u r going for a short holiday , in this u get 5 to 15 days locking of ur subscription incuding protection of money. rs 20 is charged for taking this service
if u r want ur subscription /boxes to b locked for longer duration u may take safe custody service in which u can lock ur boxes/subscription for upto 90 days. this service is free but plz note taking safe custody will mean that u will loose any free scheme or special scheme running against ur account which will b deactivated while in ''once a subscription holiday'', free schemes remains safe.

in airtel, u can lock ur boxes once in 6 months for maximum of 90 days. no charges for the facility
