@Raviteja : The above d2h sd box doesnt have an external card slot, i mean the digicard is not accessible to the user, its in-built. i am not aware of d2h too much, thats why asking, r u aware of such stb's from d2h??? :huh

I heard D2H making that type and card will be in sim card size inside...But neglected the news thinking fake or didn't care about it much..Dont remember it clearly

The current news as according to my satellite vendor is that d2h is doing such things such as to prevent piracy and especially prevent d2h cards being used in advanced boxes like openbox and dreambox... Many people are into card pairing, hence to preserve the originality of the card and make d2h secure, d2h have taken measures.... This is what i have heard, today

actually lewis, i am also in doubt with that, when i asked my vendor he told that this stb doesnt have a external card slot i mean u cant take out the digi card, it has in built card system. GLK is the small kit provided with the box sealed with it, which contains the code to be provided while activating by the dealer... I am not sure abt this, as this has been told to me by my vendor... i have told him to confirm it from dealer customer service... videocon d2h dealers too have a dedicated dealer hotline for them. If i come to know i will let you know lewis... Thanks for ur query...

All DTH will do that because they don't want anyone to view their channels illegally.
