For Better Picture Quality

Press menu then go to help ==> picture settings ==> HDMI settings than change default settings to 1920×1080i;60Htz then press save and restart ur STB

I did this when playing with the settings in tatasky sometime back. I did not restart the STB and the picture was not smooth anymore so had to revert to 50HZ.

That may be because of some problem in Tata Sky HD box. In Dish TruHD+ box no such issue
