I used to hear only hindi songs earlier but past 1 year I listen to very less hindi songs because most of the music producer nowadays similarly copy the old songs and make remix of them..

In Tami there are three categories.
1. Old
2. Medium
3. New
Most of people listening medium only. It's the period of Mastro. Ilayaraja. The singers Sir. K. J. Jesudos, SPB Sir, Mano, Malaysia Vasudevan, Janaki Amma, k. S. Chitra chechi, Swarnalatha, Sujata, etc........ it's very melodious
