Last two big releases 83 & Gangubai both are losers for makers of the movie. Gangubai made with around 180 cr. With currect pace BO collection its looks very difficult to enter in profit zone.

Gangubai atleast recovery with OTT-Satellite Deal. Gangubai budget is 150cr. First 3 days total very good till 11th March no strong competition. It will recover I guess

OTT has spoiled us. No one wants to pay ₹300+ and to go to Cinema Hall, unless it's a mass entertainer (like Pushpa, Sooryavanshi, etc). I am sure Bachchan Pandey will do well in Box Office.
People have also become lazy. Better wait for a few days and enjoy it at the comfort of your home.

So, true. In movies like Pushpa and Sooryavanshi. Even if we miss one scene. It doesn't matter. But in movies like 83 and Gangubai. We pay attention to detailing. We go backwards and watch everything. So it's better to have control of the movie.

To an extent yes but we also need to understand that our country has 60% mass audience who like Masala Entertainers like Pushpa , Sooryavanshi etc . Movies like Gangubai, 83 are more class appealing with their way of making . That is why I feel until situation cools down , I feel that these type of movies should go for a direct OTT release till next 3-4 Months . Yes OTT has its drawbacks and now people have developed a habit of watching movies on OTT but that is also because we are not getting quality content . Why would someone spend money on Movies like Satyamev Jayate 2, Antim etc which have same old boring plot . Again Bachchan Pandey will hit 100 Crores but I think gamechanger will be RRR . That will bring back audience to the theatre 💯 .

It will be average at the box office. Although Producers will be in profit zone but Distributor - Exhibitors will suffer loss ☹️. Till today it has earned 57 crores . Hope it crosses 80 crore mark to make everyone happy

Quite true but it's most business will be restricted to Maharashtra + Gujarat . At All India Level , I think it will last till this Sunday . Down South- Valimai and Bheemla Nayak is leading . Also Marathi movie Pawankhind is ruling box office so Gangubai although will get appreciation but it won't be a massive hit unfortunately .

Talking about Satyameva Jayate 2. Was the first part any good to go for a sequel? I recall watching it on Amazon Prime. I liked it only because of songs and Manoj Bajpayee. Otherwise it a movie I can never sit through again. I am hearing 3rd part is also on cards.

That's why South Indian movies work so much in TV. One necessarily doesn't need to watch from the beginning. After having a long day, you can just sit and watch from any random point and you will be able to get the gist of the plot.
