Recent movies are flop due to inflation? I can't understand how this inflation is causing only some movies to become flop. Let's take the case of MCU this year, both of their movies crossed 100 Cr in Indian BO and that means only one thing, content and viewing experience still remains at the top to pull viewers. Boycott calls are causing little bit trouble but still if the content is good then boycotting won't have any effect. Regarding OTT gap also I can say the same thing, bring on contents which values the money and time of audience and we can see people going to theater.
Pandemic caused a shift in the mindset of people going into theaters. Audience now wants to watch movies in the theater for theatrical experience only. For other type, they will wait till OTT.
South people are not watching all movies of their favorite stars like drunk and here also movies lacking content is failing. All South movies are not blockbusters as well. Bringing down prices of everything isn't the solution and it isn't possible. But Stars must ask payments realistically.
Production team must do normal promotions and let the audience bring in hype.
