Completely disagree....barring viacom18 HD channels and some of the recently launched disney-star HD channels, Airtel Digital TV has been regularly adding all popular SD as well as HD channels.....list is big as far as addition after Sony Rox HD is concerned, post NTO implementation speed of addition gained good momentum as was expected bcoz advance deals were bot required hence Airtel did not have to worry much about high investment in beginning itself while remaining assured to get good subscription revenue which would be shared depending on which channels customers opt for thereby helping expand its mass + niche offerings / audience base....also post NTO all operators got channels/bouquets from various broadcasters at same pricing unlike previous regulations where bigger/stronger operators got huge discounts in advance payment RIOdeals (which were of annual / semi annual or even longer periods) with various broadcasters while others got less discounts thus again NTO helped operators like Airtel Digital TV to expand its offerings by bringing more channels on its platform.
Tata Play too avoided adding And Xplor HD for many years and even earlier pre 2016 added many channels be it mass or niche despite having some bandwidth.
There r other HD channels like from ETV, Tarang or recently added Zee Picchar HD, Sony Ten 4 HD etc whose addition has been delayed across various cable or DTH Platforms bcoz of possibly various reasons so operators cannot be solely blamed for the same
