Interesting fact: While ALL English movie channels show movies only at 9pm, Hindi movie channels generally may show movies at 7pm, 8pm or 9pm. FTA channels like B4U Movies did not have any fixed time at night, but now it is 9pm for B4U Movies. I don't know the time for Colors Cineplex, but I think it is 9pm.

7pm: Sony Max 2, Zee Classic, plus all the former DDFD channels (Sony Wah, Star Utsav Movies, Zee Anmol Cinema).
8pm: Star Gold, &pictures, UTV Movies, Sony Max (Fri.-Sun.), Movies OK.
9pm: Zee Cinema*, Sony Max (Mon.-Thu.), Star Gold Select, UTV HD.

*Zee Cinema sometimes showed movies at 8pm in the past.

These timings keep varying across movie channels, be it hindi or english. Lot of things r factored in before deciding schedule for the day

But as per EPG of each & every English Movie Channels all the Prime Time Movies starting in ridiculous timings:-
Star Movies @ 8.49 pm
Sony Pix @8.56 pm and So On.

I don't know the time for Colors Cineplex, but I think it is 9pm.

Its Evening Prime Time Slot @ 7.30 pm daily.

These Channels are usually starting their Shows at 6.45 pm / 6.50 pm.

These timings keep varying across movie channels, be it hindi or english. Lot of things r factored in before deciding schedule for the day

But one thing I cannot understand that daily Movie Shows are scheduled to start at horrible & ridiculous timings like :- 8.36 am 11.14 am 2.39 pm 4.48 pm 5.17 pm 6.52 pm 7.37 pm 8.49 pm 9.11 pm 12.08 am and So On.
They can easily made Schedule on 8 am - 11.30 am - 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm - 9 pm like this then it will be more helpful for the audiences to remember and watch their Favourite Movies as per Schedule.
& this can be applicable on all Hindi & English Movie Channels.

They cannot do so as all depends on length of movies and ads. If they run fillers after movie ends then people will not like it plus channel will lose valuable time. Many channels r having less ads these days bcoz of decline in viewership and other market conditions hence some play content non stop or with few promos included. Extremely difficult to have set timings, i would say it is impossible unless people readily pay higher subscription fee and channels depend less on ads.

These days we don't have to remember timings, just check and set reminder or simply record it. It takes just few minutes

Looks like Zee Anmol Cinema is on its way out, in last 2 days its schedule resembles the look where channel airs sub standard stuff till it is discontinued or rebranded.

Sony TV is giving Hindi fonts for all of its shows.

After Colors Infinity & Comedy Central moving towards a strategy of delayed premiere of new shows or even pulling the plug on some programs, now Comedy Central has done same for even Jimmy Fallon show... From 1st July it is not airing right after international telecast and now they will resume its telecast on 10th July thus maintaining 10 day gap from US timings

I think , zee hindustan might be shutdown soon and replaced with zee news telugu.i heard telugu news (in voice only) some times on zee hindustan. May be testing (Telugu feed), let's see what happens.
