Update

With the ganpati festival ending on ekadashi, some channels have chosen today to implement certain changes

Star Movies - Evening Movie time advanced by half hour to 8:30 PM ( will further be advanced if some longer movie is scheduled so that it ends by 10 : 30 or 11 PM)

Sony Wah - More slots dedicated to bollywood movies, checked today and tomorrow's schedule. Guess Sony made changes based on public demand and recent cases of producers shifting base to rivals.

What is happening wrt to addition of Nat Geo Tamil/Telugu and Star Sports Marathi? It is available nowhere. Not that these channels carry much value but still am wondering how broadcaster like Disney/Star is dealing with almost zero distribution issue

I don't understand this.. why are they even launching different regional versions of the Infotainment channels?? Isn't Multi-Audio already available???
People can just change the audio of the existing channels to their prefered language.
Unless those channels are going to air regional original shows I find this completely unnecessary.
Anyone knows the actual reason? Would really appreciate an explaination.

At present it seems SIPL lost their ideas - plans - creativity and audience friendly attitude completely for the followings :-

1.Rebranding of their Movie Clusters pending from Pre- IPL Season. Star Gold Graphics & Design literally getting Backdated Day by Day. Even though SIPL holds the license for revamping Movies OK to Star Gold 2 and Star Utsav Movies to Star Gold Family - " but / a big But " that till the Process pending nearly after 9 months of receiving MIB permission.
Also repeating Star - Disney (UTV) Movie Library by shuffling to ViceVersa Channels leading to meaningless attitude day after day.

2. Keeping Baby TV HD alive with no Means and not Providing HD Feed for Star Sports 3 also another disaster decision from SIPL front.

3. After Launching nearly for 3 months now even what is Star doing or what is the exact intentions for NGC Tamil - NGC Telugu - SS1 Marathi ? It's really a million dollar Question that exactly who are receiving and Watching these Channels ? SIPL have not bothered for Distribution and Contact All DPOs to carry these 3 Channels. Hopeless Decision.......

4.SIPL should now reconsider about the Future of Star World - Star World Premiere HD - Star Movies Select HD asap. Or else OTT will really swallow these Channels in near future.

By naming itself as No.1 Broadcaster of India (Oh!!Really???) Star should stop their Day Dreaming and refrain themselves from Day Light Robbery from Subscribers Pockets.

Really frustrated over SIPL now..........

Absolutely. Yesterday (10 September) is the 8th anniversary of the Star Gold graphics package. In this time Star Plus has rebranded not once (Nayi Soch) but twice (Rishta Wahi Baat Nayi). Even Star Jalsha, whose graphics were getting a bit old (but not as horribly outdated as SWP HD), has got a new logo and graphics package. Then why not Star Gold and Star Movies?

After Launching nearly for 3 months now even what is Star doing or what is the exact intentions for NGC Tamil - NGC Telugu - SS1 Marathi ?

Perhaps only Ketaki (the Star employee—@Golty on Twitter—who posted pictures of SS1 Marathi) is able to see it.

SIPL should now reconsider about the Future of Star World - Star World Premiere HD - Star Movies Select HD asap.

Star World Premiere HD does not deserve to keep running like this, especially with its look that is even more outdated than Star Gold. Introduce new shows AND new graphics, or get the hell out of here.

Update

Zee Action in revamp mode, since last few months they were showing few movies in a week which were not based on theme of channel and now they have stepped up momentum adding flurry of titles from diverse genres including popular ones. Let's see what happens. Good thing is that bollywood content on tv has got boost thanks to this move.

Still hope that they launch a channel for hollywood dubbed movies (slim chance as recently Disney has taken all their Sony Pictures library of Hollywood Films ). Also &Xplor SD should make way either as replacement or new addition to bouquet, similarly Zee Bollywood HD should launch inplace of &Pictures HD as it will help serve bollywood audience better.

I have ideas how they can position different movie channels but not listing all here as it would lead to lengthy post

@dino29 bro. Movie channels in India sucks. It's doing more damage to bollywood than piracy. I stopped watching movies in late 2000s. I am unaware about good titles like Khoobsurat, Dev D, Life In a Metro. I started re-watching movies after late 2017. I am shocked how all the gems are buried in Ott by these broadcasters. By now I think studios should make it mandatory to get proper airtime or not provide the movies to networks.

Sony employees are so lazy. They didn't even bother hiding Sky Sports logo.

Meanwhile Sky's coverage is top notch. Still waiting for the day when Fox and Sony will learn. Both are just terrible.
