Star needs to air shows as same day as US like Colors Infinity is doing. Weekend slot is not good for them.
AXN has shows that's not available on OTT platform. But don't know how to use it. There is no hope for you.
Well all these dramas or other non comedy shows will not get audience until they r available for less price or people have to pay more for internet. Right now comedy shows will work for English GEC bcoz they can be watched anytime without needing to worry about previous episodes or story, also there is not much censor required and it gives happy moments in stressful life.
Colors Infinity is casualty of own doing as its sister concern telecom company gave free internet and people r enjoying watching latest shown across OTT platforms.
Star World had long collapsed once they took off all latest content from it and tried to put in on SW Premier and failed, now they should also go Comedy Central path
Zee is another story which showed signs of winning but with Viacom18 coming in and lapping major shows, they r left in bottom now. Even Big Bang Theory is not part of their library, they r airing some low profile unknown shows on most occasions , also Zee has pathetic presentation, picture quality. They cannot think of competing with such strategy.
Lastly i have hopes from Sony, am sure they will rebrand AXN into more of a family/fun channel rather than dated action image.
Well if one has Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar or even airtel xstream app subscription then why would u need TV channels, internet is again there at such less price. TV Channels need to have fresh approach else it all down road from here, same goes for music, infotainment genre and later Hindi GEC or Movies too
