C'mon, HD feed airs shows and documentaries from CNBC US. Shutting down of HD version of any channel is just morally wrong from a broadcaster. Shutdown the SD feed. Then downscale for SD users.

Just on a brighter note, niche channels can hope to get viewership back for them, limited net means TV becomes prime source again for people. OTT players have thing or two to worry about, i think they will work out a way by partnering with mobile service operators

Unless the gap time in movies premier reduces. Also broadcaster would have to instantly airs shows within an hour from original telecast in US & UK. In this day and age of social media making customer wait 12 hours would be a huge failure.

They do on Colors Infinity, right after foreign telecast as well as some within 12 hrs. They aired many shows alongwith US too in morning hrs. Within 12 hrs airing also happens on Comedy Central, Star World too. Regarding movie chs, and flix recently reduced premiere window which now ranges 3 to 6 months, Star or HBO will do so shortly.... Times Network does not have much 1st output deals
