Please remember that DD has only two HD channels and it should launch at least two more which are more important than an English international news channel. DD cannot compete with Al Jazeera, DW and France 24.

DD Sports HD is much more important.

They can compete if government decides to acquire ANI. Jokes aside when there is a will. There is a way.

Agree, DD Sports HD is a must. Until it's launch DD National HD should air sports in HD along with DD Sports SD.

DD National HD should convert to DD India HD. DD National's syndication has nothing good to offer. DD India HD will atleast be competitive to it's International counterpart like DW, BBC and RT.

It is far from National flagship channels. DD News HD airs news in Hindi mostly with Hindi graphics. So I want a state run English news channel representing our country like DW, BBC, RT. If I was Doordarshan's director. I would even introduce bulletin in other global languages by now.

DD India HD will be not in priority List of Prasar Bharati to start in near Future.
But one certain thing Prasar Bharati can do is just mix DD News HD with Alternate English Feed of DD India.
And of course a Global Coverage of News will be really a Good jesture to implement.

Also Prasar Bharati silently doing one thing is to make a Deal with Foreign Countries to carry DD India on their Government DTH + OTT Platform to reach widely. Recently Bangladesh have agreed to do so. In next phase it's turn for Srilanka / Bhutan / Japan / Korea etc.

Hopefully mixing DD News HD with English & Hindi Feed will be a very good Option as DD News HD is really a True HD offering from Prasar Bharati.

DD cannot compete with RT / DW / CNA or BBC due to huge Technical Backlog compare to them. Prasar Bharati have to be Financially Strong for Upgradation of Technology.

But recently Prasar Bharati have investing on their OB Van Technology & Studio Set Up to improve News Broadcast over Asia.

The national flagship channel must be in HD.

Prasar Bharati have definite plan to Launch DD Sports HD. But they shelf the plan for time being because to Firstly they want to Convert DD National HD into Full HD 24x7 Format as currently DD National HD is not a Full HD 24x7 Channel so not distributed in All DTH & Cable.

So Prasar Bharati want to make a Good Infrastructure for DD National HD & then they will start DD Sports HD.

Meanwhile DD Sports Content cannot be clubbed or / telecast with DD National HD by virtue of Honbl.Supreme Court Order.

Prasar Bharati also will construct and Revamp their Regional DD Channels with New Technology & New Program Line Ups.

Information & Broadcasting Minister also visiting All Regional Kendras to make a Proper Plan for Revamp.

But of course DD Sports HD will start within end of 2020.

Now a days Max 2 is providing some great space to Ramsay films. Since it has huge rural market. Last week there was Ramsay film festival on Max 2 which ends with the airing of Tahkhana today. Veerana, Purana Mandir, Bandh Darwaza , Mahakaal, Saamri, all the Ramsay classics were aired. Plus on Christmas Day Sony Max will premiere Batla House as well as airing 3 id*ots on its 10th Anniversary. It is so surprising to see a film being aired on Prime Time even after 10 years of it's release.With the loss of Sanju Sony Has understood that they cannot afford to lose vinod chopra production films

Hindi movie channels airs dubbed bulls#it anyway. So they have the actual stuff before being dubbed.

B4U Brodbrand & India Pvt. Ltd. Is in ''josh'' to launch new channels. They planned to launch many new channels. Already they have 2 lisence from MIB named as ''B4U Plus'' & ''B4U HitZ''.

Also they have applied many logo for registration. They are :
1.B4U Action
2.B4U Flix
3.B4U Bomb
4.B4U Dhadak
5.B4U Filmy
This are applied in 2019.
& Which were earlier Applied they are :
1.B4U Comedy
2.B4U Food
3.B4U Classics
4.B4U Entertainment

Hope in new year some of new channel will launch from B4U Network.
(The network is in Josh, So I think in coming days a new logo will applied by B4U Network named as ''B4U Josh'')

There are some quality movies as well like U Turn, Demonte Colony, Arjun Ki Dulhania (Chi La Sow) which won a national award. So yes all movies aren't bullsh*t.
