That sony max blocbuster dophar is nothing new just this they promoted it in a promo.It's their week days pattern that they follow from evnn before this promo. They do show a South movie daily on week days starting from 12 or 1 pm after that as usual they will show bollywood movies at late afternoon like today (21st) they will be showing AA 2 at around 1 pm and once that movie ends after that they will show bollywood movie Lage raho munnabhai starting around 3-4 pm. Tomorrow at around 12-1 pm they show south movie kanchana 3 which they mentioned in the promo and after that bollywood movie at 3 pm ie Krish
Yes u are right that they revealed it for the first time in many weeks that which South movie they are going to show at 12-1 pm throughout that week. But would have been better if they were would have revealed the bollywood ones which they play at the 3-4 pm slot in afternoon in week days
So they will continue in the same pattern on week days by showing a South movie at around at 12 or 1 pm and then once that is movie ends they will play a bollywood movie after that generally between 3-6 pm.

In Telugu ETV & Gemini Tv deal with Sony Pictures. Now Viacom18 for Bengali.

Star Network_20th Century fox is one so other network channels can't deal with fox movies.
Only available productions is WB,MGM,Sony this productions.
This year 3 Networks deal with Sony
Telugu_2 Networks and now bengali also good

If Star is going to loose them then HBO Go/Max will be entering India for sure. Then they won't be on Air at all.

Warner needs to convert WB into a premium English GEC. Start a HD feed. Increase SD's pricing to ₹5. HD feed to ₹10. They can revive the declining English tv market. They can bring all HBO, CW, TBS and TNT's into one cluster. It will help their other channels by having an attractive bouquet. Popularity of HBO, Cartoon Network and CNN is already declining in this country. They need do something before it's too late.

Linear Television is failing bro, atleast incase of English clusters! They won't risk anything now, imo even launching HBO max is a risk for them, people who will be subscribing for just HBO originals are limited, even Disney with its massive brands understood this and integrated with Hotstar. Will have to wait and see what future holds for them.
