Today Sooryavansham Is Airing On Sony Max HD From 7:56 PM To 11:51 PM
And It Is Airing On Sony Max SD From 7:53 PM To 11:22 PM
Even Few Days Back When It Was Aired In Sunday 8 PM Slot, The Timings Were:
7:52 PM To 11:38 PM On Sony Max HD
7:55 To 11:23 PM On Sony Max SD
So What Is The Benefit Of Subscribing To HD Feed? Instead, SD Feed Is Better As It Has Got Less Ad-Time. Does Anybody Know The Reason Behind More Ads On HD Feed As Compared To SD Feed?

More ads or they r cutting songs/scenes on SD feed so that movie ends in 210 mins with ads. HD might have full version with regular no. of ads. Nothing new even Star, Zee do this

I Have Never Seen Sony/Viacom Channels Doing So(Cutting Scenes/Songs) But Yes Zee Is The One Who Does So With 90% Of Its Movies. They Cut The Pre-Credits And Post-Credits Of Most Of The Movies. They Show Pre-Credits And Post-Credits In Those Movies Which Are Either Produced By Zee Studios Or They Have Got Rights Of Those Movies As A Part Of Deal(Eg. Dangal, Secret Superstar) And After Star Gold Was Revamped And Star Gold 2 Was Launched In February 2020, They Also Stopped Showing Post-Credit Scenes And Show Movie Promos Now(Except For YRF Movies)

Well Sony has got fewer options to do so, most of their dubbed library is having short run time and same goes for bollywood ones too. They do cut scenes from few longer films like i have seen happening when they had Koi Mil Gaya, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and even Krissh had some scenes or song parts skipped but now it has been stopped
