Can we expect some YRF films to shift to star/disney next yr onwards? Chak De India, Dhoom franchise, Bank Chor, Hichki, Mardaani, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, Bunty Aur Babli, Gunday, Ishqzaade and some others expected to move. Sony likely to renew popular ones like DDLJ, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Ek Thha Tiger, Sultan, etc.

So many good films like Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Saathiya, New York, Dostana, Badmaash Company etc hardly aired on Sony. Atleast star/disney has dedicated chs for showing diff kind of films and above all gives proper space to bollywood films

Small correction. Dostana is a Dharma film but it was distributed by YRF.

2015 was the last year in which both Sony Max and Sony TV gave great importance to YRF movies, and most of them were actually premiered on Sony TV (but smaller ones like Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! were premiered on Sony Max). Once Sony Max HD launched on Christmas 2015, it started to show all these movies regularly and at the same time Sony TV stopped airing all movies completely. But those happy days of 2016 are long gone. Sony should sell at least the niche YRF films to Disney so that they can be aired on Star Gold Select.

Zee network should now become serious.
Such serials are not needed at all!

Exactly what I feel. ZEE TV, Bangla, Marathi and Tamil are currently lacking that much of good content. Whereas ZEE Telugu, Kannada and Keralam are doing hard work on their content.

Zee Kannada doing all remakes effert very less (all hit concept only they are doing now).
As read some comments Marathi thread Zee Marathi doing more swameke . So my opinion is Zee Marathi more hard worker than ZeeKannada .

Zee Marathi is a swamake and original channel.
No remakes have been there on Zee Marathi, some are inspired serials but that much is ok.
Even now it's not doing a single Remake.
Tula Pahate Re was Super duper Hit serial which is now remaked in all languages except hindi.

Zee Kannada now has Jothe Jotheyali which is remake of Tula Pahate Re.
Zee kannada earlier also did remake of Marathi serials like Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi (Srirastu Shubhmastu), Mazya Navryachi Bayko (Shubhalakshmi Samsara),Tuzyat Jeev Rangala (Jodi Haki), Ratris Khel chaale (Nigooda Ratri), etc.

Still Zee Marathi lagging behind now because of crap story serials.
But I am sure in future they will improve and bring more swamake and original Serials.

Zee Marathi is lacking good content as all they have orignals only, no remakes they should now start Remake serials along with Originals.

Unlike the serials which they had earlier now mostly they have very crap serial stories (7-8pm serials story is crap and presentation very poor, cast is also not good), 6.30 PM and 8-9.30 PM serials story is good also got remaked in other languages but they are stretching this serials a lot except 9pm serial, that's why audience is getting bored and abusing the serial and channel still many people watch this serials as they are Hit. And 10.30 PM serial story is worst

By hard work, I don't mean original work. ZEE Kannada is promoting their shows very well on SM, as well as their shows are well managed in proper time slots, unlike STAR Suvarna, which lost more viewers after rebrand due to no revamping of shows and time slots.
