Why were they off air for so long is beneath me while other shows goes proper re-runs? Romedy Now use to air random episodes.

It's History Channel. They did have India centric lifestyle shows on a different channel called FYI TV 18.

Star/disney bouquet might b costing more bcoz of huge investment in cricket but they r doing fab job in Hindi Entertainment, Movies, Kids, Infotainment genre too. Also despite tiny revenue from chs like Star Gold Select, Marvel HQ , Fox Life...it is quite a good decision to continue them by somehow offsetting losses thru other popular chs.
In Infotainment genre these days even Discovery doing gr8 job, lot of new shows across channels ...even EuroSport doing commendable job...Discovery Kids is rather struggling
Times Network English Movie Chs and Turner Kids Channels are not performing that well now
Sony doing very well in Hindi GEC, English Movie genre...Average in Hindi Movies Genre while Kids Channel is not giving desired ratings. BBC Earth is showing good content but somehow not picking up expected ratings
Zee doing alright in Hindi GEC, Good in Hindi Movies Genre, Left Behind in English Movies Genre though airing nice films
Viacom18 is doing good in Hindi GEC genre, Average in Hindi Movies Genre, Leader in Kids Genre and Music Genre while struggling in Infotainment Genre

Any1 remember Da Vinci Learning kids channel, it was a wonderful channel but poor distribution and some money related case with distribution company led to exit. Such foreign chs r much needed in each genre

Was also thinking that is it possible that Kapil Sharma show will shift to Colors incase of merger with Sony?

Lastly what happened to B4U Plus, B4U Hitz...weren't they suppossed to launch this yr? Looks like plan will b called off

Isn't History TV generally #1 infotainment channel even FYI TV18 before it's shutdown was #1 channel? Star imo needs to get rid of useless channels like Star Bharat, Star Bharat HD, Star Utsav Movies, Bindaas and UTV HD. UTV brand in general needs to go. I would want UTV Action as Star Gold Action and UTV Movies as Star Gold Comedy.

Is it because IGT moved from Colors to Sony, so TKSS should move back to Colors as it was the original home of Comedy Nights With Kapil?
