I think disney/star will soon launch a retro bollywood movie channel, kids movie channel and a new infotainment channel dedicated to airing science / invesrigative / exploration / biography shows.

Already National Geographic Channel has stopped airing science, biography shows....investigative shows too have been reduced to bare minimum so i think they r planning a separate channel for such content. Baby TV HD licence might be used for this channel

UTV Movies and UTV Action licence might be used for new kids movie channel which might have multi audio feed option.

Disney-Star has in past few years build a robust classic/retro bollywood movies library so which possibly indicates that they may be planning to launch new dedicated hindi movie channel for the same.

Bindass may also soon be revamped as a youth channel airing mix of bollywood / dubbed hollywood movies, old Channel V / Bindass shows, Dubbed Disney Live Action + Foreign / K Dramas and ofcourse music/songs.

Incase Star Gold Romance does not manage to get desired ratings then later this year it might be rebranded as Star Gold Family and air bollywood movies from various genres like UTV Movies did rather than restricting to romance genre. Though i feel that Star Gold Romance can be a success if they air wide range of good romantic bollywood / dubbed hollywood movies, until now the content on this channel is just above average...they should acquire/air more nice bollywood romantic movies to attract audience


Zee/Sony might also soon launch a hindi movie channel for dubbed hollywood movies. Sony Max HD likely to soon again become a pure play bollywood movie channel and even air some dubbed hollywood movies.
