Also flirting from Taraak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma. A married guy Jethalal is seeing flirting with his neighbour's wife Babita. Totally inappropriate. Also ban shows like Bhabhi Ji Ghar Mein Hain. Than you got kid running around in their underwear in Chota Bheem. Everything needs to stop. Also infotainment channel needs to ban mating scenes. No, we don't want see snakes or lions mating specially with that creep David Attenborough's commentary.

How does this work?
Viacom18 purchases the rights and sells to others. So whose making more money here viacom or wbd?

Warner Bros and Universal have commitment for long term with most of Broadcasters, all movies moving rotation 6 months/year basis, even Sony Pictures movies too. Viacom18 dealing limited multi year, here WBD only making more money from those deals compares with their box office business in India.

Its been almost 12 or 15 months and since Hulk, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter franchise movies exited sony English / Hindi Movie Channels library they have until now not been renewed by any broadcaster.

Also Fast and Furious franchise, Mummy Franchise, Jurassic World franchise old movies not being aired on any channel. Even new Fast And Furious 9, Jurassic World - Dominion, Elvis, Pet Cemetery, Paw Patrol , Top Gun : Maverick, King Richard, The Man Called Otto, and several other Hollywood Movies from different studios still await premiere

Dog which is a 2022 movie from MGM Studios was renewed by Disney-Star just few months back so hopefully they will acquire rights of other movies too. James Bond surely would come at some premium price point hence broadcasters will tend to arrive at a deal which does not cause financial losses to them , this maybe reason for delay in agreement renewal.

Right now Universal Pictures movies that too few ones airing on Times Network English Movie Channels, these too may soon expire. Species franchise which is part of MGM Studios movie library is also with Times Network and agreement period for the same might also end soon. Let us see who renews movie output deal with these studios.


I am sensing that Viacom18 might be planning to launch hindi dubbed hollywood movie channel and Universal (Comcast) is now their close partner in Indian Broadcast Business hence these movies might as well be renewed by them
