Star Utsav has taken many shows off air,,i guess content strategy revamp will happen soon.

Star Utsav has taken many shows off air,,i guess content strategy revamp will happen soon.

They off-aired all the shows because they were almost 20-25 episodes behind from Star Plus. It will affect the viewership of the main channel by airing new episodes on a Rs.0.50 channel.

Why does viacom18 not air SRK Movie "One Two Ka Four" on their hindi movie channels? This is a good movie but never shown...not even in watershed hours

Still they can air some other old shows, why repeat 3 or 4 shows all thru the day? I am quite sure they r planning to revamp the content strategy or launch channel again on DD Free Dish platform therafter bringing back regular content....without being on DD Free Dish platform i do not see all these re-run channels proving succesful .

Also bindass might soon also see a revamp. If it rebrands as Star Utsav 2 then i am sure Star Utsav will relaunch on DD Free Dish platform airing old shows while Star Utsav 2 might be a youth channel airing mix of old Channel V / Bindass / Star One / Life Ok / Star Plus shows with movies (bollywood + dubbed hollywood) music and even K Dramas, Dubbed International Shows including Disney Ones being part of its content line up

In near future i also sense that Star Gold Romance might be rebranded as Star Gold Family .....if it launches on DD Free Dish then it might be rebranded as Star Utsav Family while Star Utsav Movies at that point of time might be converted in retro bollywood movies channel

I just wish Warner Bros Discovery and Disney-Star launch channel dedicated to airing old cartoons , live action shows. Also there is void as far as a channel catering to retro/classic hollywood as well as International Language Cinema is concerned....hope Viacom18, Disney-Star, Times Network launch such channels.

OTT may have all content but searching for things, subscribing to multiple OTT platforms, connectivity issues and even certain movies or shows being unavailable on the digital platforms is a real issue. It is too tedious, time consuming, costly to watch content on OTT and even fatigue has set in bcoz of these and other factors. Broadcasters need to reinvent and have a proper content strategy which shall surely result in channels across genres doing extremely well on TV and getting good audience response
