Some Star channels do it (Star Bharat, Star Maa, Star Pravah, Asianet). Others do not (Star Plus, Star Vijay, Star Jalsha). But no Sony channel ever does it.

I find this irritating don't understand why broadcaster are showing program name it is completely useless, as after digitization EPG are available & mostly viewers are known about the program which is being telecasting
