first nobody knows tata sky will be using GSAT-10. it is all rumor. moreover the tp factor will only come once tata sky acquires GSAT-10.

gsat 10 is mainly launch for dth.....:sp
but they donot mention "it is used by tata sky"
if sun direct takes this satellite very good future there for upcomming days in south area ......hya

In response to my yesterday's mail just now i received call from Mr.Manjunath at CEO desk of tata sky from Bangalore office.He told me few things i wish to share.
1.In G sat 10 tata sky will get only 3 to 4 TP's initially.
2.Colors HD launch confirmed on 8th October
3.M Tunes HD expected in near future

3 to 4tps initially means tatasky can add 30 to 40 channels now.

suri bro you are a dream expert, i don't expect this type of post.

12tps is so much......
one tp contain 40 sd channels or 12 hd channels.....
thats way tatasky have space for 300 sd channels and 40 hd channels ......

tata sky still using MPEG2 so they can add only 15- maximum 20 sd with compromize quality or 8 to 10 HD channels.
