today is the day of celebration, 100 days have passed by since gsat 10 launched. yipeee! now that we r not getting any new chs , we can only celebrate this

can any sat expert answer this that if a sat fails then is it kept at the orbit designated for it or is it shifted somewhere else?

have a good news to share as per LIVE REAL TIME SATELLITE TRACKING AND PREDICTIONS: 4a circular orbit) and this LIVE REAL TIME SATELLITE TRACKING AND PREDICTIONS: INSAT 4A 9gsat 10 circular orbit), now gsat 10 has sort of similar left circular inclination like insat 4a. earlier gsat 10 has right inclined circular orbit so i guess they r adjusting its orbit properly. it will take few more days to adjust the orbit like insat 4a, that being if there is no other problem in it

I had mailed ISRO regarding GSAT 10 few days back but i didn't get any reply

This shows that there is definitely something fishy. Why don't they say for once. Why keep TS subscribers false hopes

You can get answers from ISRO by Doing RTI. Because they will not answer EMAIL.but give Prompt Answer of RTI.

guys i do not know what is happening,tata sky was spreading rumours for past 100 days about channel addition from gsat 10 happening very soon, i guess it was all to mislead customers. now cust care telling that it will take 3 months for new channels to come. so most probably either gsat 10 has failed or cust care have no info. i believe gsat 10 has failed or there is a delay in tata sky getting tps from isro due to some tech issue as twitter account of tata sky has stopped mentioning gsat 10 in their response now. so again bad luck of tata sky continues
but do not loose hope as i am not a sat expert but as per n2yo gsat 10 is still in circular orbit and i hope that it becomes functional soon.but if some major technical problem in parts needed for functioning of tps has occured so it may remain in orbit but will not b functional

tatasky spreading rumours :no:no:no did they anywhere mentioned any specific date of channel addition huh:huh
