Why they don't want to make it public it will benefit their business many new customer come and join the family and existing one will trust them even more it will also a plus from investor point view.

TS runs its operation in highly secretive manner & always try to influence public in a measured way. So this is expected from TS in this case also.

But strange thing is TATA(SKY is not migrating there channels from last 20 days and they are continuously adding channels in MPEG 2 as TATA(SKY guys are saying.

I will suggest every TS SD customer to get free mpeg4 box ASAP & any how or upgrade box to HD if getting a good deal.
Now its likely that TS won't be be throwing free mpeg4 boxes to remaining customers & add further channels in mpeg2. They will slowly migrate to mpeg4 selectively which may take many months. In this way they will be able to save hugh money.
