In HD channels they are showing some programme which are old or not up to date.
e.g. in NGC HD some old war videos, old disaster clipping or in Star Movies HD some old movies.
Now the question is that at that time there is no HD camera or not even HD concept. But they are showing those videos in HD and also in 16:9 ratio.
How they do that?

They must convert video clippings and change its resolution to 16:9.
