Seeking Help Is it a stupid decision to get Sun Direct Max 4K box right now?

When will this box officialy launched ??
The ad of this box came in may 2024 in sundieect offucial yutub channel

It's announced. Not officially launched. You cannot book a box via the website or from dealers (most). One member of this forum managed to book a box but the customer service agents advised against buying the box right now as only Star Sports 4K is available as 4K channel. I guess the only thing we can do is wait for the official launch which I think will be in late '24 or early '25 during Pongal holidays.

this box is a joke.. literally there is no numeric button in the remote, how can user switch channels..

That's one of my concern too! I'm fine with navigating using directional keys and ok button, but my elderly parents not so much. In fact they are the ones who watch TV the most.
