Versatile actress Sridevi, who recieved lots of accolades for her performance in her comeback to film, "English Vinglsih", is reportedly set to enter the small screens.

If latest reports are to be believed, Sridevi might soon entertain the television audience. Buzz is that she has signed a deal with a soon-to-be launched Telugu channel to host the Telugu version of the game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)".

KBC is a popular game show and was hosted by stars like the Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. The Tamil version of the game show titled, "Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi (You can win one crore)", hosted by actor Prakash Raj, is an equally popular and a successful show.

Now, a Telugu channel, which is going to be launched soon, will reportedly air the Telugu version of KBC. Latest reports suggest that Sridevi, who has a massive fan base not just in Bollywood but also in south, is all set to host the show. It is also reported that the actress will be taking home a whopping ₹20 lakhs for each episode.

Sridevi has charmed the audience with her sizzling onscreen presence and comic timing for many years. After a six-year sabbatical, she returned to limelight with her new tv serial "Malini Iyer" on Sahara One channel in 2004. The launch of the serial pushed a five-fold growth in the channel's share, but the show failed to rake in the expected success and was stopped airing in 2005.

If the reports of Sridevi hosting KBC are true, then it would be the first time the actress will be hosting a game show. The actress has made her appearance in KBC last year as a participant. Recently, she took the hot seat in the Tamil version of the KBC.

It has to be seen if the gorgeous actress, who has achieved so much in films, will be able to pull off the popular game show which has seen the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and south Indian actor Suriya.
