The expansion plan of DD Free Dish from 59 to 97 channels is in progress and is likely to be completed by Oct'2014. The delay was inevitable as various licenses to be issued by regulatory bodies. However, the delay is deeply regretted. The expansion to 120 channels is likely to happen in 4 to 5 months. The other expansion plan is still not finalized.

Six channels has won e-Auctions held on 11th and 12th August. They are- Colors Rishtey, B4U Music, Shri News, Zee Anmol, Star Utsav, Big Magic.

Not easy to start 97 Channels on Oct 2014 end.

They have to finalize STB Software, CAS, STB maker with their Software and CAS system, setting Call Centre, conducting e-auction for (97-59)=38 Channels etc and so on.

Not an EaSy TaSk
