Remember only viewership of HD channels will be severely impacted, SD channels TRP is not influenced to any major level due to unavailability on Tata Sky platform. I can give u many examples of Channels not present on Tata Sky but performing quite well, this includes mass and niche SD channels

Yes but think, even if only one main sony channel is removed from tata sky, will not everyone moves away from Tata Sky within few days, customer don't want to know what is going behind the background and only wants channels, Tata sky are giving main sony channels because they know this and they have to give those channels.
 
There are serious doubts about deal happening. Difference in demand is approx. Rs. 1000 crores.

Earlier they had IPL so they wanted what they got but now with no equivalent property like that it would be quite difficult to meet their demands.
 
All will be decided by the TRAI verdict. Remember that Star is the only network that is complaining. Also remember Star is the only network that has not issued a disconnection notice against TS. This is independent of the fact that their ownership is the same. (Reposting from Times thread)

For me, I would have move out of TS today, if there isn't large balance in my account. I watch only one regular program on TV, that's Jijaji..... on SAB HD. So, right now TS is basically a 'dabba' for me.
 
Well, I've recharged d2h (SD) for 5 years (1 year free) in 2013. With the additional balance, upgraded to 4K in 2015. Again recharged for 2 years.
