As of now Jaya TV is SD

& after few days Jaya TV SD will be shutdowned

& Jaya TV [IMG=15x15]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3e/HD_image.svg/640px-HD_image.svg.png[/IMG] will be started....

Later DTH & Cable Platforms will Downgrade that channel & telecast it for SD viewers....

For SD viewer it will not create any difference in quality except the black bars on top and bottom.

But for HD users, we have to wait and see if they have enough HD contents to show in HD migrated channel.

As per the document, they are converting their current Jaya TV itself into an HD channel. Unlike Sun TV or Vijay TV, they are not starting separate channel for HD and SD.
