Monsoon Signal Issues

I am also having this issue. The dish is installed in my balcony on 4th floor.

Will installing a 90 cm or 120 cm dish help?
How much will it cost?

U cannot escape Rainfade(No matter which DTH u use) as rain attenuation increases with higher signal frequency(10-14 Mhz in case of Ku band). So if there is heavy rain/dark cloud u will not get Ku band signal as rain droplet will absorb those signal anyway in sky, i.e. before reaching to your dish. It doesn't matter how big your dish size is.

Sometimes it did effect and got not signal even if not raining :-/:u
That's what I am saying. Water droplets in those clouds absorb Ku signal.

It was raining and had no picture. Then suddenly after some time I get this awesome signal. No idea why

The answer is changing of fec of four dvbs 2 tps by Tata Sky as reported by Kumar bhai I think that boosted HD signal.
