My review of my new Sun Direct HD Box

At last I have fixed up my Sun Direct HD Connection yesterday. My package is HD Bengali Value Plus Pack. It is activated upto 26/12/2014. I am getting most of the newly added channels in my package like Sonic, DD -India, ETV News Kannada, DD - North East, DD -Rajasthan etc. The package consists of 10 Hindi News Channels, 6 English News Channels, 2 Bengali News Channels & upto 20 Regional News Channels. I am getting my favourite channels like ABP Ananda, Aakash Aath, Colors, Times Now, Russia Today, Star World & Star Sports HD Channels. Now my review:

1. Audio quality very low in HD Channels.
2. Audio is very high in some channels like Aakash Aath, Sangeet Bangla, DD -Kashir etc.
3. Picture quality very poor in DD -Rajasthan, Loksabha TV & DD -Sahyadri. Also it is not good on OTV. :angry
4. There is no separate folder for Bengali Channels. All Regional Channels grouped under the same name "Regional".
5. Neo Prime & Neo Sports available only on mega package.
6. Very less no. of Odia Channels. Bengali is better than Odia. 7 Bengali: 2 Odia.
7. Very popular ETV Odia & ETV Rajasthan has been removed.
8. Maximum Doordarshan Channels Picture & Sound quality both not good.
9. Awesome picture quality in HD Channels. Even better than Tata Sky HD at times. hya
10. Like Tata Sky all music channels not available on base pack. Like for example, Channel V not available on base pack.
11. Radio Channels still on test mode. :angry
12. ABP Ananda excellent picture & sound quality.
13. All Hindi Movies Channels in base pack. hya
14. Movies Now & Romedy Now in all base packs.hya
15. Multi Audio Langauges in many channels including Bengali. hya
16. EPG not updated of Aakash Bangla & NE TV.
17. All Devotional Channels not part of base pack. :angry
18. No Bengali Movie Channel or Service !:angry
19. Maximum Doordarshan Channels, All Sports Channels except Ten Golf.
20. More or less picture & sound quality both good.

Points given : (SD Channels)

1. Picture Quality : 7 /10
2. Sound Quality 8.5 /10

Points GivenHD Channels)

1. Picture Quality: 9.5/ 10
2. Sound Quality: 8 /10

It means like Tata Sky provides all music channels in its base pack Sun DTH does not. Channel V, Hindi Music Channel is not a part of my base pack.
