~ 28 or 30Kg its not given on package but its written in website of solid. Its not small, the camera perspective make it look like that(long shot on floor). Don't know about E series name. Me too felt something.

Yes it plays .mkv format and almost any video format which are general like MP4, FLV, etc even in Full HD. I tested all those formats from USB drive. It has 16 input diseqc capability. DiseqC version 1.2
