Basically they wanted to shed the tag Cricket from the channel name so that they can use the channel for all sports.

they are showing football , hockey on neo cricket.

But they have said Neo Prime will be their main channel from here. Which means all premium events will be on neo prime. They will use neo sports when they have any overlapping.
