This show is a production of Sony Pictures Television, it is available on Netflix as they have ongoing agreement with Sony for its TV shows and movies

It's a Netflix original produced by Sony.

No buddy. It has premiered on TV channel too in the USA

It is basically a situation where certain tv shows or movies get released first on OTT and later arrive on TV. We have many examples in India too, Amazon Prime Video or Netflix even call them Original.... When during lockdown many movies premiered directly on OTT than u must have seen "Originals" tag put by these platforms in their promo of such films

Actually, it was cancelled by Netflix and was picked up someother TV channel. That's the reason only 3 seasons are on Netflix even though it ran for 4 seasons..

Last season only. Anyhow it's a remake of an old show. There are other Amazon, Netflix, Starz etc. original show that airs and has aired on Viacom's english channel.

Sony Pictures Television holds the distribution rights of this show.... Had it been specifically been a show exclusive made for Netflix then Netflix itself would have held distribution like it does for many other shows which it had ordered for production like Orange Is The New Black.

In all likelihood Sony Pictures Television made it and Netflix picked up the rights at that point of time but now rights seem to b with Sony or could well be that Netflix ordered this show but as they cancelled it then post expiry of ongoing agreement Sony Pictures Television again got rights for the same.

Right now it is also possible that Netflix might have the USA territory rights while in international markets Sony Pictures Television would the owner of this show

Whatever produced by some studios, be it sony, universal, paramount or other, ott platform always get these for certain time period. After that it depends on studio to whom they will sell the rights. Definitely these are original as these are premiering first on ott. There are shows where Netflix, amazon are co producers, that's likely to stay for long even if those are from big studios but still not for lifetime
