How about making the dark color light grey?

You can decrease the size of (x viewers) and make it normal (not bold and italic).

Also if the (x viewers) term can be moved below topic title and near poster, time and category name, it'll be perfect.

Bold happens when you have unread content only. Italic is to distinguish it. I will also check if size can be scaled further.
