2, there seems to be no need of an add-on. Before activating this HD top-up, only base pack was active for me. Now I have this HD add-on since I need it, not that the base pack demanded!

Not sure. Could be a DBR topup or maybe newer topups have rectified this error. Anyway airtel has a bad record with giving false details.
Even if Airtel is giving offers they would make new topup. These are exact same code as old ones.

Ok. So are we saying when we click on the subscribe, Airtel is showing wrong description? I mean, I'm kind of surprised that they have managed to put perfect description in a buggy top-up! It's perfectly calculating the post expiry monthly usage based on our base pack charge!! Anyway we will wait and see.
