lol. Manual update doesn't damage the STB. Its a myth. I have tried manual update so many times but never had a single problem.

If the STB is showing IDLE then only do it, otherwise no use

Put the STB on ch.100 and see if it changes to idle. Or else ask CC.

Arrey yaar, we are also trying hard to see if any updates. Before also we did it. But this time no update came. So its confirmed Tata Sky has not yet pushed the update.

Nothing like that bro. Its all because of our excitements. You want the update to arrive sooner and so we want. But TS is the culprit, making us wait longer and longer!
