Can't help you. If you want to watch same content in over 10 channels. It would help the viewers if channels starts providing closed captioning and multiple language feeds instead of launching channel after channels every year.

And about bandwidth. Almost all broadcasters are indeed wasting bandwidth. What's stopping them from switching to HD only? Ask DPO's to slowly downgrade for SD users. Most have been in simulcast mode since NTO. I don't see any difference in content or ads. Tata Sky as a sensible operator have starting to hide channels which are simulcasting after purchase of the SD channel or it's HD counterpart.

Not possible for most chs to have just HD feed. Multiple reasons which i have earlier discuss in detail. Till SD boxes r major part of connections both feeds for popular chs will continue. Niche chs can have single feed and downscale for SD as target audience is small, for regular channels advertisers have separate budget for reaching mass and affluent audience

there should be an option like no FTA needed, no need to pay NCF. If you need Sony sports pack, the pack cost only should be paid. so, total cable/dth bill will be ₹50 only. This model will get massive hit.

NCF is for operational cost incurred by operators, not for getting fta chs

There is a healthy competition when we pay for the internet. I have lots of options where can I opted for a cheaper ISP and save cost. Here almost all operators are charging almost same amount for NCF.

I got your points. My point is operator should bear the cost. Here's why and it's profitable for DPOs too. When we buy channels. Operator gets 20% profit. When we are buying any HD channels. We are already paying more than the amount of it's SD counterpart because of it having superior picture and audio quality. If customers gets more free slots. They would be encouraged to pay for more than 100 HD channels. In a way it's more profitable for DPO.

That is upto operators and soon u will see good offers or discounts... Right now due to NTO rollout delay things were unclear for them. Once all things r properly implemented, operators will bring in exciting deals to attract customers

Already TRAI has said now u can opt for unlimited slots for Rs. 160 and buddy please do not confuse channel revenue share for operators versus NCF which is for diff purpose

Edit: Actually the forum software is working as expected. As basil bro said Quote option is for replying to someone, in that post the member has just quoted another person without saying anything hence according to software there is nothing he said to be quoted.
