For any MSO or for any business in that case we need to give them enough time to see if they resolve issue and only upon failure we can complain.
Arasu never had Sun network channels initially due to price issues and later got them on-board. Similarly Arasu gave notices to several channel distributors well in advance to sign a long term and a profitable deal and few channels went off-cable and later they returned within a few days.
Except Chennai cable service Arasu (Arasu has completely failed to Chennai people and we lost hope) has shown professionalism, well planned on-time effort and resolution.
This issue was reported this month and now we hear about Arasu's hike in rental and other payments to LCO which may resolve the deadlock, so we have to give them some time for them to work on this and return to usual service of pay channels.

Yes , we are giving enough time to everyone!!! SCV too.
Arasu added SUN TV as SUN TV took the case to TDSAT , initially Arasu refused to carry SUN Network. Till date SUN News is not there in Arasu.
Read it properly there is no hike in rental , other fees. There is only increase in maintenance fee.

See Viki, if SCV can give me the STB so i can get pay channels or atleast give me 2 more eng movie channels with 2 international news channels and ten sports (they have enough free space across all good bands) and i can pay them upto 150 for analogue and upto 200 via STB. But do they give me??
Is my expectation high? Doesn't other state MSO do this? My LCO keeps telling me wait.. wait and wait for over 2 years with no result... also i'm only angry with my LCO because he doesn't give me the STB and no sports channels like other LCO's.
If my current MSO removes one or two news channels and gives all other channels then i have no issues, i will be still happy. The same with Arasu, i wont have issues if they remove some news channel as i have all other channels.
But will Arasu come to chennai?? or will the current MSO supply STB?? Now i completely hate local cable.... I might move from my current location and will go DTH under airtel by this new year.

Don't change this topic to channel availablity comparison topic. I said in another context , even after TDSAT ruling and agreement with SUN TV arasu is not providing SUN News! but , if that happened in SCV what would have we told?!

If the current MSO removes a single news channel and gives all other news channels then i have no issues with the current MSO, but do they do that?? They just offer selected channels and that too replacing channels every now and then.
We first had PT and it got super popular then it was removed, later satyam came and it got popular too and that too was removed, then came Thanti tv and now it seems to be popular too and we don't know the future.
