Sun news is pay channel bro.. Remaining news channels are FTA..

Oh! If it is pay channel it is not required to be added in package?! Then why we are blaming Arasu or SCV when they removing other pay TV channels.

Coming to your point , is captain news is available on Arasu , it is also a FTA channel.

My point is clear , I treat SCV , Arasu as same. But , some people supports Arasu when it removes channels and blasts SCV when they remove channels.

It happened earlier in PT's removal from Arasu for sometime.

If the current MSO removes a single news channel and gives all other news channels then i have no issues with the current MSO, but do they do that?? They just offer selected channels and that too replacing channels every now and then.

We first had PT and it got super popular then it was removed, later satyam came and it got popular too and that too was removed, then came Thanti tv and now it seems to be popular too and we don't know the future.

Arasu didn't have this news channels since long but gives all other news channels so why care about this single news channel?

Useless to explain to you again and again. Read the TDSAT judgement on SCV / SUN Direct vs PT - filed by PT before saying PT was removed as it becomes famous.

Yes, they can give a million reason why they keep removing and jumbling channels every now and then. They do as they wish and yes, they find some reasons to support their reasons.... when did they care??

Let SCV be the super MSO than Arasu as your wish, I don't mind..

Except ARASU, No other MSO in nation has the intention to provide 220+ channels in digital mode for less than Rs.200/- .

I feel Sun news (Pay channel) is not equal to Zee Studio given in analog by Arasu.(A pay channel priced at similar rate to sun news).

Let SCV be the super MSO than Arasu as your wish, I don't mind..

But No MSO in nation has the intention to provide 220+ channels in digital mode for less than Rs.200/- except ARASU.

I don't want any one MSO to be Super or Duper. I treat both service providers as same.

Simple terms: SCV - previous Govt supported monopoly
Arasu- current Govt supported monopoly ( only difference is they are trying hard to enter into chennai completely) once they are in it will be another SCV.

Let chennai have someother cable network like hathway or siticable/DEN like in other metros( which will never happen here :'( )

Completely?? Can someone give me one single point to confirm Arasu's attempt to enter into chennai even partially? Except for some old old press notice, did they ever even show like attempting to enter?

Demanding for a DAS license doesn't mean they want this entirely for Chennai alone, may be they want it to supply STB to other large cities like Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Tirunelveli etc.

How is Chennai even different from these other large cities? All had/has DAS issues so the license could be for those areas that they are currently serving and not for some place that they never cared for....

Had Arasu really wanted to enter Chennai they would have entered long long back with their CAS license as there is none to stop them. May be they just don't want to.

all the press notice bla bla are nothing. there is no support for arasu from center and the LCO, NO MSO can survive without LCO's support. thats the reason they are not able to enter.

With all the support they got (both in state assembly and in current Parliament) i think they can easily convince (or force) LCO's or create new LCO's to proceed or nationalise the cable tv business and take over the local cable tv business.

They have around 1 year and 7 months for the state election so may be they might enter during the last 1 year (6 months would be too less so coming new year or tamil new year would do).
