please check you tv input .. wheter it is 1080i or 720p .. bcoz in many stb resolution is fixed at 720p (after update).

you can change it to 1080i...first press menu button then go to setting>installation>box setting>tv setting.

I am currently not in a home....but this is my rough idea to change resolution...try it and if it don't work then wait till evening i will check in tv and write here full steps in detail.
