Picture Quality of SD Channels

Guys,

My friend has a TataSKY Plus connection. Noticed that the quality of SD channels is not good compared to the same in a non-HD STB.

Does anybody else also noticed this?

pic quality may vary in diffrent stb sunil.but am upgraded customer o ts to tsplus hd.i found slight change in contrast compared to normal sd stb .
