since because PT is back in network doesnt mean that they are unbiased. Let them get the DAS licence. Let them come to entire TN and see how they are going to kill the cable business.

Already they have killed Cable Business in Tamil Nadu.

Whenever something goes terribly wrong in the state the government is forced to act, correct the wrong with its legal muscle and save the people.

Arasu too has acted the same way to stop monopolies and their friends combo from looting the people.

Remember the state's CM has directly involved in this and is doing her best to bring this service to reality in Chennai by demanding a DAS license and we expect it to be awarded any moment. So the LCO's instead of preventing Arasu and denying the service from reaching the people have to first accept Arasu and any issue can be taken to the government for some solution. Also under DAS there wouldn't be any primary band, secondary band issues and all channels are expected to be of good quality so LCO's shouldn't stop this valuable service from reaching the public any further.

all the channel shuffling will happen very soon with first few slots reserved exclusively for jaya network and the other channels supporting jaya. Even SCV was intially unbiased, The same people who are supporting arasu will say SCV was better than arasu.

This is nothing but a pure "Appeal to fear fallacy" created by those who cannot withstand Arasu's success within the peoples and are left with no options to stop them other than to spread deception among the people and confuse them to achieve their goal. :k :k

Let Arasu first come and then we can report any mistakes, all are shouting based on some unproven and baseless complains that may or may not happen in Chennai, not even 5% of Chennai has Arasu and we are already complaining that their service is at fault and the "Appeal to fear fallacy" is already seem to be successfully playing its part.

Arasu wants DAS in chennai and this may be the only reason they haven't entered Chennai, in DAS many analogue issues will be ruled out and most of these complains are based on some analogue experiences and many of them are particularly limited to LCO's and may not affect the public in any way.

Let those who complain against Arasu even before they could enter may try the formula of "Lesser of two evils" and then fight for a better service once the service is already in place.

for all of those who are yet to witness digital signals, even digital signal needs good uhf amplifiers if not you will not receive all the channels given by the MSO you will see no signal on specific channels where it comes on UHF band. The real fun part is channels which come in uhf are not sequential they will placed at different locations. so it does not mean that once you get a digital STB u will receive all the channels the mso gives.fyi

I do not want to reply to this now.. will reply once arasu comes into chennai and let it stay for sometime. All the specualations will come true. No politicians in TN wants to serve people, they want to loot. Everyone wants freebies given by the govt they dont know how the govt is giving the freebies. can someone explain the reason as to why the present govt is very firm is gettting the DAS license?? Do you think they want to serve TN people?? or they want to pull the business from scv and loot what they have been doing all these days?

Well said, let them come first and we can raise voice if they are wrong.
We gave all these years to one particular MSO, lets give Arasu a chance and see how it goes.

Also the post wasn't towards you, but those LCO's and other MSO supporters who blindly complain Arasu without valid proofs.

I generally don't care if they are looting or not as every single one loots without an exception, let them do what they want without causing much trouble to the common man, all i want is access to most pay channels with good quality and at affordable costs.

Over 70% Chennai wants Tamil, English and sports and the other 20% some Telugu Channels and the rest 10% some Malayalam and Hindi so if they can give us a package with all Tamil, English and Sports well within Rs 150 then it would satisfy most of the subscribers. Additional channels for Rs 20 or 30 for an add-on pack can satisfy other language users too and Arasu cable too would run on decent profits.

If Arasu wants to remove one or two channels due to some personal reasons i still wont care as long as they give us access to around 90% of the channels.

Chennai never has DAS, all we had was a CAS and lets see how Arasu handles this. If they still work like the others (still im sure of getting good pay channels within viewable quality even on analogue... atleast 1 international news channel, movies and sports channel) then we have to once again raise voice and try to resolve it.

But the current analogue system is definitely pathetic without any chance to move to even a CAS (no LCO is selling STB for the last several months... i didn't get STB long back and does it mean i need to suffer all these months without access to pay channels??) and we need to get out of it ASAP.
