Query regarding signal strength

My tata play box is showing signal strength from 30-40 and signal quality above 80 on almost all channels. Is this normal ?

The longer your Antenna's cable length (connecting LNB to STB) the lesser will be Signal Strength.

Your dish Antenna might be at a long Distance from your STB that's why your STB Signal Strength is week.

Signal Quality matters the most. It's the amount of Signal your LNB is receiving from Satellite.

Thanks for the reply. I guess as long as the signal quality is good it's okay then.

I had this doubt since when the dth was first installed in 2015 the signal strength was above 50 and signal quality around 80. I am using the same tata sky HD box, dish antenna everything in the same position.

Ok then I will stick with it if its good. I am not having any issues except for the low signal strength. Still surprised to hear not much upgrade in so much years.
