Ts surely. ...bcoz they r always ahead of competion n terms of services and now after migration they will surely add ALL demanding n required chs. .......(Ts will never add any crap ch just to increase its no. Count) So there no. Might not reach 450 + hd sd chs but certainly ALL sd n hd REQUIRED chs will be there. ....

In future cable or DTH will not exist as Mr Ambani is coming with IPTV over 4g. So that we can watch TV on mobile, tablet, laptop,desktop as well as so called TV.

No bro. 50 years ago no one thought that one can transmit image. Then TV came. 20 years ago we never thought India would have 800 TV channels. But now we have 800+ channels. So technology is changing fast. So it can happen that in next 10 to 15 years IPTV will become mainstream. And in 30 years DTH and cable will become obsolete just like telegraph. So you don't have to wait till your grandchildren.

No problem you can use Airtel 4G

Bro futureproof means which dth is capable to n will add chs in FUTURE ...it is not necessary they add chs immediately ..what if they add chs later but in bunch ....it is necessary to add imp chs [though late in future]n not to add them immediately but other imp chs r missing [ex dishtv ]

For voting best DTH we must take into consideration:
1. Audio Quality n Picture Quality.
2. HD STB Quality n Performance at user levels.
3. No. of Channels.
4. Most Importantly COSTS OF PACKAGES AND HD CHANNELS.
5. Customer care n time taken for rectification of problems if any.
6. Ease of User Interface and Connectivity Options.

All above points are very vital to vote for Best DTH month after mont h....

Well just confused about the definition of " Future Proof " is the channel count or all aspects in a DTH service including Service , price, good channels,Hardware ,software etc.. If the thread starter confirms i can tell my view as i have used Dish TV SD [from 2004 for 8 years] RDTV SD [For 15 months],TS SD [for 2 years] Sun Direct SD [using now from 2 years] and TS HD [from 1 month after since it launched]..

When it comes to internet , india is always way behind in terms of speed and service. First thing it should available for cheaper. 3g and 4g are way costlier in India. Even broadband have fup for high speed. So i think IPTV is possible in india but it will grow slower.

They should provide mobile network for cheaper price as in india we have more mobile internet user compare to wired net.

IPTV will be very costly i think. Hope some magical happens and we get it for lesser price. :tup
