Thats why I'm saying they need to merge both apps into Hotstar and keep it as both an SVoD and AVoD service. That way, they will generate the expected revenue. Keeping both services separate, one as SVoD and the other as AVoD, wont do them any good, especially not for IPL, which is by far their most valuable property.

It seems Jio cinema OTT can demerge from STAR-Viacom18 combine, again transfer to Jio platforms for Jio sim users
