Some Insights :-

For Hindi Movie Channels - Not much seeing possibilities to have name change of their channels. We should not keep that hype that Star Gold will be renamed to Star Colors Gold or even Colors Cineplex will be renamed to Star Gold Cineplex.

All the Existing Channels of both Star & Viacom 18 will run as earlier model. Only Content Library will be shared accordingly in near future. That's why We may observe Star Gold Movie Library on Colors Cineplex and Vice versa.

Interestingly on Bangla Channels portfolio I am very much curious to know and observe what strategy will this Merge Entity take on behalf of :-
**Star Jalsha Movies HD
**Star Jalsha Movies SD
**Colors Bangla Cinema SD

There might be mere 2 Chances :-
1. Shutdown / Sale of Colors Bangla Cinema. All Movies of Star & Colors will join only One Platform with 2 Channels of 1SD & 1HD.
Or
2. Shutdown / Sale of Bangla GEC Colors Bangla SD and it's HD Version will be renamed to Colors Bangla Cinema HD.
Because as of now Colors Bangla Cinema is No.1 Bangla Movie Channel and as they have a huge Movie Library so HD Version is just times call from Viewers.

Post Disney-Reliance merger, Star Kiran and Star Kiran HD should be discontinued. Their TRP ratings are at the bottom, and they lack quality Odia programming, airing mostly dubbed serials throughout the day.

Alternatively, they could consider converting Star Kiran into an Odia movie channel.

On the other hand, Colors Odia, as the first Odia channel, should continue. Its dubbed serials are well-received, and the channel remains somewhat competitive with others in the market.

I think now Ambani changes his mind, D+HS will continue as Jio hotstar or Jio Star and Jio cinema will continue as free app for Jio mobile users only(as previous), content from Star/Colors and other 3rd party apps like Sun, Etv, Mini tv etc...

My thoughts -
Disney+ Hotstar -To be refined with adding more contents from Viacom 18 side and continue as paid + free with ad driven contents. Major offerings
1. International Contents from Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, Peacock, HBO and other studios with them.
2. Hotstar specials - Merging Viacom 18/Voot/Jio cinema originals to Hotstar specials by cancelling some upcoming projects of both teams
3. Movie premieres
4. Latest TV episodes
5. Sports
6. Movies except latest ones, TV shows after one day for free.
7. Kids shows from Disney & Paramount
Jio Cinema to step back as Jio sim exclusive streaming platform which offers
1.All free contents of Hotstar ie TV shows from Viacom 18 & Star after one day of telecast,All Movies they own except latest.
2. Selected live sports like ISL, Selected matches of IPL, etc.
3.Contents from partnership deals
4. Old TV shows of Star & Viacom 18 - While Hotstar will remove many old contents & keep a few, Jio Cinema will bear the complete library.
5. A few kids show from Hotstar.
6. Some movie premieres.
Now I think Ambani will let Disney+ Hotstar to keep its name for a few more years.
Hotstar subscription rate may remain same.
