yes thats what iam saying with my exp Saurav, Iam not commenting abt HD clarity at all here, but only abt SD channels appearing dull on airtel HD connection and seeking what can be the solution,

If 46" LED a wrong choice I made, considering still market of more HD channels yet to mature, we still live with majority of indian channels on SD only :c

If some other user had this problem, got some solution, if they can share inputs, it would be really helpful !
That's really weird! I didn't even notice SD channels with that much care! Maybe D2H was better!

thnk u people :tup

let me post this query with airtel support/fb page also and see if they have any solution

having invested 80k on 46" Sony I should defenitely need a better viewing exp ( I know HD channels anyway will be best but also on SD channels too which are majority today)
Well I haven't invested 80k, but 65k isn't very small money, least for me.
However one thing I remember, when I first switched to ADTV from my local Hathway STB, the SD channels look much better, but that my 26" Bravia, not the new 42" one. To get the same good picture I definitely need to increase my viewing distance.
Still I need a concrete answer on that HD STB gives bad SD picture, and SD STB gives better picture, it sounds weird to me!

mine is 42,but i feel good, compare to my existing videocon.i don't know why people telling "is dull".
and also d2h 2222 not suite for current Sony 32",it has worst clarity.i wrongly suggest it for my brother and he is not happy with that.

any suggestions, what distance I shld take snaps ? 5feet/8feet/10feet ?

Kindly calculate from what distance you are taking the photos and mention it here.
